SURPRISE, AZ — Going past the classroom to assist college students make “cents” of their funds.
Two college students at Shadow Ridge Excessive Faculty, together with the Arizona Council of Financial Schooling, are taking motion for teenagers to ensure they’re prepared for no matter monetary hurdles life throws at them – whether or not it is after commencement or proper now.

For Stephen MacKellar and Noah Axelson, the aim is to get their classmates within the mindset of being financially match.

Stephen felt like his fellow classmates weren’t uncovered to sufficient monetary preparation – so he and the ACEE, together with a number of volunteers, helped set up the occasion on November 6.

Stephen and Noah aren’t stopping there – they’re planning to make use of the course as a part of their undertaking for the group DECA which prepares highschool and school college students to be the enterprise leaders of tomorrow.
